I have a non-touch screen Mimo monitor that shows the desktop wallpaper fine. However when I move a window, or even just the mouse cursor in them, the image goes black. Windows 7 64bit. Latest drivers downloaded from DisplayLink.com. The graphics card is a Nvidia 7950 GT.

Any ideas what is going on?

In the screen resolution settings the driver is listed as using the Microsoft Generic PnP driver instead of the DisplayLink driver, and is attached to the Nvidia adapter. This might be an issue, but I'm not sure how to correct it. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the latest Nvidia drivers.

Check the following thread for a work-around for Win 7 64-bit NVidia issues:

http://displaylink.org/forum/showthread.php?t=146

1) disable the nvidia display driver in Services (startup manual)
2) edit the registry to TdrLevel 0 (google for details)

This does result in a bad wake from display off/sleep - but that is solved by hitting ctrl-alt-del, then click cancel.

(I just disabled the services and things worked for a while. I'm back here searching the forum because I'm having issues after moving my PC [first reboot in a long time].)
