Please download the Windows DisplayLink debug tool from the website below, then gather the system information and attach the zip file to this thread. This might give us more info as to what is wrong.

Please update your primary graphics driver from here (http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us), uninstall current DisplayLink driver 5.5, install the latest v5.5 M1 from here (http://www.displaylink.com/support/downloads.php) and see if the problem continues.

You must uninstall the current driver first before installing a new driver v5.5 M1. Follow the instructions in this (http://www.displaylink.com/support/ticket.php?id=297) FAQ to completely uninstall DisplayLink SW.

well finally done it
:):):cool::cool:
so hers up to date
fresh copy of win 7 ultimate
latest display link driver
latest nvidia driver
but still had flashing on - then off
flashing on - off
stuck both usb,s in and hey prestow - works
why it never worked on xp pro - i will never know
my dilema now is how the hell do i get the usb touch screen 5 mtrs away from the computer with 2 usb,s
what type of cable end goes in the monitor - is it a mini b type ?
and do they do a 5 mtr extension ?
what i wanted to do was control i tunes from the i mo which is playing music to my amp-stereo through optical
so i could flick through music and pick a song and play without getting up to computer which is 5 mtrs away
and it looks cool to
so if someone could let me know what type connection it is and if poss an extension
??????? why is my single usb not powerfull enough ??????
