DisplayLink Driver Issue Mac 10.7.5
 

Hopefully somebody can please help me!


Basically I've tried installing the driver from the disc, the website and still to no avail.

I will install the driver, it will say successful installation and my computer will restart, but then when I look for the application itself in order to set up the UGA device to run USB to HDMI it is nowhere to be seen. All I have is a folder in my applications titled DisplayLink with an uninstall option in it.

I've also tried a newer driver on a different mac which is running 10.9 just to see if there was any difference and still nothing...same issue.

I'm probably overlooking something stupid, but this seems like an issue - the screen plugged through HDMI isn't showing up or turning on either.

Thanks for help in advance, quick responses will be much appreciated as I am trying to finish my home studio fairly quickly!
