DisplayLink display randomly failing w/ 10.11.2 beta
 

I'm running 10.11.2 beta 4 on a Mac Mini - In general been rock solid using the 2.4 driver.

The last week since I upgraded to 10.11.2 beta 3 my DisplayLink display has been failing intermittently. While using it I'll get strange display artificats, then it will just go black - The light on the DisplayLink adapter will go out also. Disconnecting and reconnecting the USB device doesn't resolve it (and the light doesn't come back on).

What's the right way to troubleshoot? The rest of the Mac works just fine even after the failure - Although it still thinks the DL display is present.

Not sure if it is a 10.11.2 beta problem or my hardware flaking out.

I too am running El Capitan (10.11.1) with the displaylink driver 2.5 B 2 and several times throughout the day, the display will cut off. A restart of the computer is required to reestablish the connection.
