Windows 7 driver incompatability error
 

Wim, I got your message but still a little confused. Again I have an ASUS laptop i7 core 64bit and an ATI Radeon hd 5870 Graphics card. The error occurs when after downloading the 5.6 driver and then connecting the device (Infocus 3116 projector) I get a software incompatability error.

Where should I look for the driver update. At ATI or MS windows 7. Is there a name for the driver that I need. At the ATI site the choices were diss-similar to the one you were describing.

I went into the Device Manager and did an update of the ATI driver and a message was sent the I have the most up to date driver.
