dlkmd.sys BSOD keeps crashing W8 RTM with DL 6.3 M1

Hello,
My fresh install of Windows 8 Enterprise RTM x64 on my Dell Latitude E6500 laptop (with NVIDIA Quadro graphic card) keeps crashing due to "dlkmd.sys" I use the latest DisplayLink driver version 6.3 M1 and the latest NVIDIA Verde R302 Driver v302.80. It may be related to memory usage but I'm not sure. I attach 2 MiniDumps and the ZIP output file of the Support Tool. The DisplayLink product is not used when the crash occurs. Indeed, it's a Wireless VGA Adapter from IOGear but Wireless USB was turned off and so, the Wireless USB Dongle was not connected to the Wireless VGA Adapter. Tristan |

I don't have BSOD with 7.0 M1 but, after a while, some applications' UI stop working (like Zune). I can play MP3 but the UI (window) stays dark and flicker. Zune is not the only application concerned by this problem. I don't know if it's a problem with the ATI driver, Windows 8 or DisplayLink but there is someone with a similar problem: http://www.displaylink.org/forum/showthread.php?t=1877 [Start screen "Flickers" when you access it (gets stable after seconds)]
The common point between these apps is probably the graphic API they use programs (directX, direct#D, opengl, ... ?). |
Is there a way to unload the DisplayLink Driver or restart it (without restarting the PC)? So, I can detect if the problem comes from it.
