1.6b3 No Screen Rotation
I just installed the beta driver. I can't rotate the USB Screen.
Lilliput UM-70/C/T Mac Pro 10.6.5 |
I've had the same problem for months or maybe a year.
I'm currently running the 1.6 beta 3 driver. |
Rotation works for me with b3 driver and 10.6.6. 7" Mimo monitor 800 x 480 resolution

Finally!! I got to work with a software called Display Rotation Menu X 1.2. I just ran the software once and changed the display to portrait and now it remembers that setting.. It even brought the rotation setting to my system preferences. Here is the link to the softwarte http://mac.brothersoft.com/display-rotation-menu-x.html
Hope this helps! |
Rotation Disappeared for me
I just got my new 2.3Ghz i7 Quadcore MBP.
I did a Time Machine restore and rotation has disappeared. (Everything worked normally (and still works) on the old machine.) I then uninstalled the driver and reinstalled the driver to no avail. I then reinstalled the OS with no success. I uninstalled the driver and reverted back to 1.6b2 with no success. I uninstalled and reinstalled with graphics switching in both positions with no success. I've gone back to 1.6b3 but still no love. One thing though is that even after re-installing it appears that all my monitor profiles are still being remembered - and I cannot delete them which makes me think that the files may be locked. Where are these stored so that I can try wiping and re-creating them? I used the Display Rotation software mentioned by seba108 and that worked perfectly! Hope that the DisplayLink guys can figure this out as I don't like having to run separate software just to rotate my monitors :/ |
Worked for me too!
