Dell D3100 Screen Corruption

1 Attachment(s)
Hi,

I have an HP Pavilion laptop that connects to a Dell D3100 dock which has two Philips 243V monitors connected via HDMI.

I'm getting a lot of screen corruption. Parts of the screen will flash and sometimes I have to mouse over sections of the screen or do a screen refresh to get it to update.

I have all the latest drivers and I've followed all the advice on this website, but I can't seem to fix it.

Is there anything else you can suggest?

Thanks

David

Hello,

You don't have any graphics driver installed for your Intel 530 graphics card.
Graphics: Microsoft Basic Display Adapter ((Standard display types))
Graphics Driver: 10.0.15063.0 Dated 2006/06/21

I would recommend you get the drivers from Intel.

Do you see the corruption when you do Print Screen and paste it somewhere?

Kind regards,
Alban

Hi Alban,

Thanks for your reply. I installed the driver you recommended and all my (DisplayLink) problems are immediately resolved without even having to reboot.

I can't believe I missed that. I made sure that all my other drivers were up to date. I guess I thought the nVidia drivers were the more important ones.

Anyway thanks for your advice. Have a great day.

Thanks

David
