Display Link Causing nVidia driver to Crash OSX
 

Hi,

I am using a dual monitor setup with my Macbook Pro attached through the display port to DVI+ displaylink adapter to VGA. However when I disconnect the cables, the NVidia driver crashes causing the entire computer to come to a halt.

Uninstalling the displaylink driver (but not simply disconnecting it) also fixes the crash.

I have had this problem consistently with all the new Macbook Pros running the NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M card with automatic graphic switching. All systems are running 10.6.4 as well.

I have tried installing both 1.5 and 1.6 beta and the problem occurs for both.
