OSX 10.9.4 Mouse Issues with 2.2 driver
 

We had some users update to 10.9.4 from 10.9.3 and now there are mouse tracking issues with both external mice and the built in trackpad where the mouse pauses or freezes every few seconds rendering it un-usable.

Under 10.9.3 there were no issues and we still have some users still running 10.9.3 without any problems on the 2.2 and 2.1 drivers.

I have not been able to track down the mouse issues but it only happens when the HDMI port is driving a monitor. The dock will work fine for the mouse and all other USB peripherals but as soon as I plug in the monitor to the HDMI port it starts to freeze the mouse tracking every few seconds.

Any clues on what to check next are appreciated.

I think this might be a retina display only issue. I reported the bug to apple
