Lion Install - Says Newer Version!

Updated MBP to Lion this morning and downloaded DL beta 1.7. Kicked off the install and the 'Select Destination' screen is telling me: 'You have chosen to install this software on a disk that contains a newer version'! Have never installed DL 1.7 before (not even on SL).

Any clues as to why the install thinks that there is something already there and that it's newer?? The 'Continue' button is grayed out so it has come to a dead stop - can't ignore or bypass the message......

Could you please check in /Library/Receipt if there is a receipt (InstallationHistory.plist) of a previous DL driver installation? Anyway the message is just a warning. You can click on a disk (a popup should appear warning you again, just press continue, at this point the main continue button will be enabled) and you will be able to complete the installation.

There was nothing in /Library/Receipt.....

Did discover that clicking the disk allowed completion of the installation! Was concerned that if the install thought something else was there that overwriting it might cause issues. It did not (so far).

Tested everything and it worked (using a USB/DVI adaptor from NewerTech and an Apple 20 inch A1081 Display). Observations the same as everyone else - it is slower but very usable as a second display (first display is an A1081 on the DisplayPort of the Macbook Pro which has the lid shut).

Thanks for your response.
