[SOLVED] Linux Mint 17.3 and DisplayLink suddently stopped working

After a reboot the DisplayLinkManager stopped working.
USB Hub is still working. Network and display isn't working.

When I start the DisplayManager from the terminal I get following output which is also in the log of the DisplayManager:

[libevdi] ioctl: drop_master error=-1

With xrandr --listproviders I get following output:

Providers: number : 2
Provider 0: id: 0x67 cap: 0x9, Source Output, Sink Offload crtcs: 4 outputs: 4 associated providers: 1 name:Intel
Provider 1: id: 0x3f cap: 0x4, Source Offload crtcs: 0 outputs: 0 associated providers: 1 name:nouveau

Running Linux Mint 17.3 with 4.2 Kernel

I will post the logs of the support tool too.

Is it right that the DisplayLinkManager only provides a service for video output and not networking?!
I'm asking because my network via the docking isn't working and thats a sign that something besides DisplayLink is wrong.
But maybe the log can help to find whats exactly wrong?!

YOU WON'T BELIEVE IT.
After reading through several forums I found a hint regarding the cable and maybe change it if you get the error "addresss not blah".
I checked the connection of the dock and moved the USB cable in and out at the dock.
Suddently the screens are back!
