But if I plug the monitor directly into the SAME laptop, I get the 1680x1050 resolution. Where is the breakdown?

I have uploaded my files. Any news on why this is not working on Win 7? I would really like to get my resolution fixed on this monitor.

I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit, and can't get my monitor at 1680x1050 res. When I plug the monitor into the vga port directly, that is it's native resolution. When I plug it in through my USB...
