However, i plugged it into my laptop DVI port and checked and it DOES support 1280x800 or 1360x840. My monitor is actually the 16:10...

I have the EVGA UV Plus+ UV-12 which supports up to 1440x1050 (i would want 1440x900).

I don't want it to be at 1680x1050 - I'm simply saying I KNOW my monitor can support a higher res than what...

Yeha I know this monitor supports it because I used to run it at 1600x1050 (or whatever that one is).
