Screen scaling for the desktop was introduced in Windows 8.1.
This caused problems for me as it appeared that all my screens were fuzzy or out of focus when using my Display Link Dock.

I was having an issue with scaling myself.

I have a 13.3" Laptop and two 22" monitors, all 1080P.
Windows 8.1 was trying (and failing) to scale the two 22" Monitors connected via my Display Link...
