Just bought and tried my third display link device. A Sewell Minideck. I actually bought it because I thought it was NOT a display link device.

Again does not work. This can not be hardware . ....

I'm not sure how that thread has anything to do with my issue. I don't have ghosting displays -- my displaylink adapter(s) will not detect my display (Acer B243W)

Nevermind -- I figured it out. The monitor is too large (and it's wide screen) for DisplayLink. That must be why I originally stopped using it. Back to ScreenRecycler.
