Same here 5.3 locks up frequently. Monitor is L206WU from LG, Dell Studio XPS laptop, Win 7-Pro x64.
Didn't ever happen under 32bit vista.

Mimo monitor reliably fails to come out of screen-saver. Photo attached. Unplugging and replugging fixes this.

Spoke too soon. The UM740 doesn't always appear as a display, however the touchpanel always does work.

In the words of victor meldrew...I don't believe it. Just plugged in the UM740 into the HTPC and run the debugging tool and it has sprung into life...
Will do more testing to see whether it is...
