Problems with 10.7.4

I have only just purchased a UD165 USB to DVI converter and find that it is very slow. I have tried multiple versions of the driver to no avail. I am thinking about just sending it back unfortunately.

Is anyone else experiencing slow performance using the UD165 USB to DVI/VGA/HDMI Adapter?

I have tried it on 2x Windows 7 machines and it is fine. On OSX using the latest 1.8a driver...
