Hi,
Could you try these steps for me?
1. Disconnect your device
2. Uninstall DisplayLink software from the Control Panel
3. Run the DisplayLink Cleaner tool from here:

4. Install the latest DisplayLink software from here:
http://www.displaylink.com/downloads/index.php
5. Reconnect your device
6. Try and launch the apps that were crashing
If they are still crashing please attach the output from this tool:
