Repost because the previous post seems to have glitched out and is no longer accessible.
New Asus MB169B+ monitor. Installed the displaylink manager v 8.0.903.0. However, the screen is black and does not display anything. The screen is on and backlit, and is recognized as a monitor, but is completely dysfunctional.
It seems that I can drag windows and such into the monitor's space, and it shows up
in device manager, but I can't seem to get it to actually display anything. Has the same behavior on my desktop as well.
Every time I plug it into my desktop after a restart it gives me
