Unhappy BSOD - Win7 - Switching Graphics Mode

Sager NP-5760 Notebook
Win7 Enterprise / 32-bit / 3 GB RAM (4 installed)
nVidia 7950 GTX / 512 MB / ver. 7.15.11.7967
1920 x 1200 + External DVI screen at 1680 x 1050
DisplayLink ver. 5.3.24903.0 DS 90u

I have a CAD program (ViaCAD Pro) that causes Win 7 to switch out of Aero Mode (changes the color scheme, etc.). This had been operating w/o error for a few weeks.

Today I installed my DS-90u into my system, rebooted, and ran my typical programs w/o issue. Then I started ViaCAD Pro; immediately after the video mode switch, BSOD. (First time ever on Win7.) On the BSOD there was a reference to an nVida DLL.

One of my justifications for purchasing the DS-90u was to hold the pallet of tools on my 3D CAD program so they don't clutter my other screens.

Any recommendations for resolving this issue?

Thank you,
-Bill
