My best advice to You: Return the monitor right away, if You have the possibility.
I've tried to get help from DisplayLink (DL) since the release version of Windows 8, but they just ignore us with the Optimus chipset, as a working driver is yet to be released (if ever)! Obviously they don't have a clue what to do about the problem and apparently haven't any contact with either MS, nVidia or Intel about the troubles.
Please prove me wrong DisplayLink!
