Monitors do not wake after system sleep or reboot.
I have a Lenovo T480 with 3 monitors attached via USB 3 to Pluggable USB to HDMI.
Windows 10, DisplayLink Manager 9.2.2115.0 When my system goes into sleep mode (power save mode), one of the monitors does not wake upon system wake. Just so happens to be the main display; so I have unplug the USB and reboot. I searched the forum for 'wake' and tried a few things but nothing has worked so far. I have attached my DL log file HELP ! Last edited by cowdog8066; 08-07-2019 at 09:05 PM. |

Hello Cowdog,
Thank you for taking the time to report this, and the logs. From the log files (system_details.txt), it looks like all 3 monitors share the same serial number. So, I need to find another way to follow things through. I see you've got two models Plugable UGA-2KHDMI & Plugable UGA-4KHDMI. Would you be able to check which one is on the sleeping display? I'd like to understand the state of that display when you recover from sleep/reboot. Would you be able to leave "Windows display settings" panel open on one of the displays which comes back alive? This is that menu: https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/...0-a.html#Part3 When your primary display is staying in power save, do you see it present on the layout? Last question, I see your machine should have only 2 USB-A ports. Would you please be able to describe how the devices are connected? You can post of photo of the setup to save you from typing! With Windows 10, you shouldn't have to reboot. Windows can now handle gracefully adding/removing displays within seconds. Kind regards, Alban

Everything is plugged into a Plugable USB3-HUB7-81X.
1 - Logitech receiver for keyboard and mouse 2 - Plugable UGA-2KHDMI 3 - Plugable UGA-4KHDMI 4 - Plugable UGA-4KHDMI 5 - Audio speakers 6 - Blank 7 - Jabra UC Voice 750 headset I've moved all the monitors around and the Plugable HDMI to different ports, etc. Seems more related to the DisplayLink or Windows 10. I do see all the screens in the ""Windows display settings" when the screen is still blank. Upon wake, I do see the mouse pointer on all active screens. The blank screen is 100% black with no mouse pointer. |

Today, I downloaded and executed the cleanup tool. (Link in your signature)
I re-installed 9.2.2115. Rebooted. The Windows display settings look OK. Attached screen shot. When I click on the "Display Link" icon in the task bar, it only shows 2 monitors. Here is the log file from today. HELP ! |

While in this state... I have just noticed that none of the buttons work on the monitor (LG e2351) Can't power off, or change any hardware settings via any of the buttons.
