2.1 DisplayLink software release for Mavericks
Hi All
With the release of Mavericks 10.9, we will be making a 2.1 release. The date for this is currently planned for 5th November. Unfortunately there are OS X regressions in 10.9 that affect the API we use to add additional displays on OS X. These have been raised with Apple for months, but have not been fixed before the first release of OS X 10.9. We have tried to find work arounds, but unfortunately there is only one API to add USB displays to OS X so we have no solutions to fix the issues in our driver. A list of the known issues that will exist with v2.1 and the first release of OS X 10.9 are available here: http://kb.displaylink.com/354 We believe Apple will only address these if they see they are affecting our partners and users, so if these issues are affecting you, and you are are developer, please raise the bug with Apple. Hopefully Apple will address these in the next update for Mavericks. Wim |

OK - we managed to get it out earlier that 5th November. V2.1 is now available from our website.
