After we upgraded our MacBooks/MacAir to 10.8.+, the display link drivers no longer works. I tried both verion 2.0 and version 2.1 Beta.
Attached is the picture of the USB transmitter. We have an older model LT-1101 works fine without issue. What I see in the USB info in the system report is listed below. UWB Device: Product ID: 0x403c Vendor ID: 0x17e9 (DisplayLink (UK) Ltd.) Version: 1.00 Serial Number: EGMS000000 Speed: Up to 480 Mb/sec Manufacturer: Alereon Location ID: 0x14200000 / 9 Current Available (mA): 500 Current Required (mA): 500 Capacity: 20.5 MB (20,480,000 bytes) Removable Media: Yes Detachable Drive: Yes BSD Name: disk1 Partition Map Type: Unknown S.M.A.R.T. status: Not Supported |

This looks to be a wireless device. The wireless drivers are not provided by DisplayLink and will need to be updated separately.
