I don't think so but I don't have any blinking screens when I have my displaylink adaptor turned off but when it is turned on it will cause blinking. I have just replaced my dock and now same thing is happening. Please advise. Maybe the device isn't working great and needs warranty is there a way to get warranty on this device or maybe trade up for a price to a different one? Please advise because all these issues really started happening after I upgraded to Windows 8.1 but I have the latest mfg drivers and still no luck. Just need assistance getting it working please.

Even when I have the display adaptor turned off via Displaylink manager it will make the windows sounds like it lost connection or what not. I have re-included logs again to see if you see something.

Please advise.

We had a similar issue on Dell E6530's with Windows 7. Ours seems to have been resolved by updating the Intel USB 3.0 Controller Driver. Download available from Dell's site.

Hi,

Does this happen on all ports of your notebook?

Thanks,
James
