Display Link incompatible with Window Games?
OK...this might be a silly question, but to my 75 year old parents its important.
I bought a Cable Matters 3.0 USB to HDMI converter that came with the DisplayLink software. When I load the software it prevents any Microsoft games from loading. Games like Spider Solitaire, Solitaire, Minesweeper, etc etc. If I uninstall the program the games work fine. Load it back and the games menu will open, but if a game is selected it will make the noise (like the cards being dealt) but it will not completely open the window. Its an HP computer running Windows 7 (64 bit). Ay ideas? Dad wants to watch streaming basketball games of his grandson on the big TV and Mom loves her games. Whats a son to do??? |

Hi,
Does stopping the DisplayLinkManager service help? Thanks, James |

After working for 2 weeks with Cable Matters I was unable to make the product work so I was forced to return it.
Overall poor customer support on both the device and the software that goes with it. Responses like "I have never seen that before" or "Try it on another computer" and 2 weeks to even here from some random person with a suggestion but no instructions on how to implement it are examples of what I mean by poor customer support. |

It was not a downloaded game. Its those silly Microsoft games that come with basically every computer (solitaire, minesweeper, etc etc)
