I had this happen repeatedly when opening a pdf on my Displaylink monitor... crashed back to login screen.
Here are logs... really hope we can get a stable system. I know Apple has some fault in this, but I still can't believe it is all Apple. |

The window manager crash has the side effect of corrupting something in the user profile and that causes the machine to crash when resuming from sleep. The below fixes it - I guess I have to do this every time the window manager crashes.
Deleting com.apple.loginwindow.plist solves the problem, but you have to boot into single user mode and mount the file system. |

Overnight the window manager crashed. It was not a system crash, as there is no system warning about a restart, but I did find my Mac at the login screen.
here is the log - hopefully you can figure out why the crash when no one is using it - maybe sleep related? Good news is, that upon login DisplayLinkManager still at low CPU usage. |

Still getting sleep wake system crashes with Dyndock connected. previous fix not working.
Can't use displaylink overnight apparently. Please fix. |
