Default Dell D3000 Display Link and Dell P2213 Monitor Issues

I have two dell monitors hooked up using the dvi-port and a hdmi to dvi connection for the second. Initiall when I went to set resolutions I would resolutions higher than 1920x1080 on one monitor and the other would be locked at 1680X1050. The one that was not locked would show up as no monitor in the resolution screen. after updating the drivers for the displaylink now both monitors show up correctly named but both are now locked at 1680x1050. I would like both monitors to be 1920x1080 if possible. Windows 8.1 64bit. Laptop Dell XPS 12. Thank You.

Well my dumbass realized that is the native resolution for this monitor. Before the right drivers were installed the higher resolutions worked. Is there any way to get custom resolutions on the display link since I cant set it through the Intel HD graphics.

Hi,

Sorry but custom resolutions aren't possible.

The only option is to use the Fit To TV option in the GUI to get other resolutions.

Thanks,
James

Hi,

Yes sorry I forgot to say that only works if one monitor is connected (which doesn't help you I know).
