Latest DisplayLink Update 7.9MO
I just bought my monitor a couple of weeks ago and I didn't documented myself since I didn't know this would have an issue with windows 10. I updated to 7.9RC and it didn't work giving me the error in the picture. Then last monday I saw the new update 7.9MO and it worked at first as you can see in one of the images but then when I restarted my computer the same error happened.
My computer is a "14 ASUS and the USB monitor is 16". I tried on a 17" Toshiba with Windows 10 too and it worked just fine. Don't know if that has anything to do with it. |

Hi Sky Angel,
I think this is happening because you're using an old build of Windows 10 but can't be sure. Can you look in the bottom right corner of one of the displays and it should say Build xxxx where xxxx should be 10240. If it is anything else then I suggest you update your Windows 10 version. If it does say 10240 it is possible there are some Windows updates you need to download from Windows Update. Let us know if you still have a problem after trying these two things. Thanks, Paul |
