Default :) Blue screen of death :/

When in power-save, I move the mouse, everything shows up just fine but the DisplayLink screen stays black. To fix this, I right-click on one of my working displays and click "refresh"; then it works.

Two ATi HD4850 in Crossfire with 10.9. Windows 7 64-bit.

I have been testing this many times. If I move the mouse, the screen comes back, right now the screen is black, this is because I brought the computer back from power-save using the CTRL key. I'm under the impression there's a driver bug which causes the display not to respond from D2 to D3 if a key is pressed.

Can someone else confirm this for me please?

The reason why you're experiencing such issues is that crossfire GPU configuration is currently unsupported and will not function properly on Windows 7/Vista.
This is clearly stated in the User Manual on our website:

When CrossFire is disabled, I still receive this issue. Disabling CrossFire should, but does not, correct the issue. This is why I am concerned. Is it not CrossFire but simply having multiple display cards? Soon here, I should be upgrading to a single HD5850 and will have more test results.

DisplayLink support a single graphics card only so having multiple GPUs may also cause the issue you're experiencing, even when CrossFire is disabled. Upgrading to a single HD5850 will surely fix the problem.

Thank you for your time Pawel. One last question. What is the reason the DisplayLink architecture does not support multi-GPU and are there plans to fix this in a future driver update?

I finally got my HD6870 in the mail today and after installing the drivers, I can assure you it crashed again. Can you please replicate this issue for me? I can give you the exact download link or you can just find an OpenGL application and then minimize it. It will freeze up the system indefinitely. I confirmed this even after a reformat. Is there something else I should know about that is causing this? Are there any application settings I may have set?

Can anyone else confirm or even test this issue?

Saturn2888 - Please download the Windows DisplayLink debug tool from the website below, then gather the system information and attach the zip file to this thread. This would give us more information as to what could be wrong.

Hi Saturn2888,

Is HD6870 card the only one you have installed in your PC?
