MacBook with two external monitors

This is the same setup I have at home, but I'm using the Anker USB 3.0 dual-display dock. For me, rebooting with the dock plugged in is actually hit or miss. My usual procedure is:

1. Boot
2. Wait until login screen (do not need to log in first)
3. Connect the Apple multiport adapter

Has worked for me every time.

Hi,

For these issues I'd recommend to open a bug at support.displaylink.com including the logs. The instructions are at http://support.displaylink.com/knowl...to-displaylink

Usually the logs have good hints about issues happening during state transitions.
