Power Monitor Off/On from command line
Any way of powering the monitor off/on or providing the display options/mirror options from command line?
Trying to automate powering on and off the monitor for a multiscreen kiosk solution. Preference is to be able to control each monitor separately. Thank you. |

No - there is no way to do that through a DisplayLink API. You could use the Windows API and set the screen into "power saving" mode, but of course mouse movement or keyboard presses would wake it up, so won't work if you just wanted to power down a single display.
Thanks Wim |

You can use http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/nircmd.html nircmd to turn off the monitor.
nircmd monitor off You can also use a simple command line script to sleep the displaylink monitor nircmd service stop DisplayLinkService |
