Allow to install while disabling native Card

is it possible to allow the disabling of the native card. (on a dell inspiron 9400 with a nvidia 7900gs card)
my situation is the following one: my laptop video card is dead and i only can use the vga output in safe mode (else, the computer crash).
I was able to install your driver at a moment when my computer luckyly accepted to boot with the latest drivers loaded and then i use the displaylink adapter as my main card. But this is not working perfectly (blank screen at user select screen)
