DL Driver breaks basic functionality
Hey,
Im tryn to run my macbookp with 2 External displays and _without_ the build in. Start your mac plugin a usb keyboard & mouse close the lid and work only with the external display. Opening the display preferences shows you only your external display - every thing works how expected! after installing the DL Drivers, MacOs is no longer able to disable the internal display. AND that REALY SUX!!!!! you never stop searching your windows... hidden on the "closed" display... This behavior makes DL unusable in this case! Now - is this a bug? Or is this out of your scope? so if - let me know - for searching a new alternative ;) thx! |

Could you please post the specs of your MacBookPro (including the GPU specs) or the system profile?
I assume you're using at least one external display connected to the display port, right? At the moment we are able to reproduce this issue only on MacBook Air models with Intel HD GPU and we are trying to understand if this is a DisplayLink driver issue or an issue of some Apple gfx drivers. Thanks |

Ok thanks for reporting your MBP specs.
Your MacBook Pro should sport an Intel HD 3000 GPU. It should be the same GPU as the one included in some MacBook Air models, showing the same issue. So most likely it's an Apple issue with this specific driver. From what we know, the problem should happen just after a sleep/resume cycle. |

sucks...
so i allways have to 1. plugin dl device 2. plugin dp device 3. unplug dl device 4. replug dl device or _allways_ 1. plugin dl device 2. plugin dp device 3. start System Display prefs 4. Hit "Detect" every time i closed the lid.. for running 3 monitors... in the first setup... and the second setup will never be part of my life... using only 2 external monitors (one dl and on dp). so i got a DL device to sell - some one need? xD |
