Trouble with Adobe PhotoShop CC in Windows 10
Hi,
My Adobe PhotoShop and Illustrator applications use the graphics processor of my notebook's AMD HD6900m card for extra computing power. Over the last 3 years, to enable an extra ( third ) display I use a DisplayLink powered D3000 Dell USB3.0 docking station. All was well in the world. As of late, my Adobe apps started giving me error messages about a faulty display card driver. In my preferences, I could no longer target my HD6900m as the designated card to support the apps. I checked and do have the right AMD drivers installed for my onboard HD6900m. When I uninstall the Dell/DisplayLink D3000 and delete all drivers, my Adobe apps work perfectly and use my HD6900m for extra umpff. Only problem; i only have 2 screens working. When I remount the Dell/DisplayLink D3000 and I don't install the drivers; still 2 screens, no Adobe problem, but as soon as I install the drivers ( either through Windows 10 update or by downloading here ) I get the "faulty display card drivers" message back and my Adobe apps can't use my AMD HD6900m anymore... In short... HELP!! System: i7 2860 CPU 16Gb DDRIII AMD HD6900m display card Windows 10 64 bit latest Adobe CC latest Bye Ward |
