Angry EVGA UV39 problems w/ LG Monitor

Hi All,

I'm having a problem similar to what's discussed in this thread: http://www.evga.com/forumsarchive/tm.asp?m=469513

Basically, the UV39 thinks my LG 24" Flatron monitor (model L246WP http://www.lg.com/us/support-product/lg-L246WP) is an HDTV and is sending the wrong kind of signal (I think), resulting in some pretty bad cropping issues.

Anyone know if the solution listed in the thread (OverrideEdidFlags0) is supposed to work for any device or is it just an NVidia thing?

Thanks!
