Default Black Screen - Monitor/s won't display

Black screen - monitor/s won't display.

I'm on a 2014 MacBook Pro Retina running the Yosemite 10.10.3.

I've tried switching out the DisplayLink hub and still have the same issues so it's not an equipment failure.

I've tried the latest beta software released this month and the regular software released in Jan 2015. Neither work.

I'm on the regular Jan release right now. I installed the logger app and am attaching my log.

Please help!

Hi macdellgirl,

There appears to be no DisplayLink device connected in the System Profile. Can't see any device in our logs too.

Could the device be defective?
If it does not come up in the profile in Hardware->USB when connected you should definitely contact the manufacturer for a replacement.
