Default Rotation only works up to 1080p instead of 1440x2560

I'm using an iMac 27" mid-2010 with 3 Dell U2713HM monitors in portrait mode.

MONITOR 1: With the built-in mini-DisplayPort the first monitor will rotate to 1440x2560 resolution. This is using built-in video drivers.

MONITOR 2: With the StarTech DisplayPort adapter running over USB2, I can get the second monitor to run at 2560x1440. This is using the DisplayLink 2.0a2 driver. But when I try to rotate it 90/180/270 it won't go 1440x2560. When it's 180 degrees, it still doesn't show 2560x1440. It defaults to 1080p, and the scaled resolutions max out at 1200x1600 and 1080p (which I think is 1080x1920).

MONITOR 3: Same thing as monitor 2. DisplayLink adapter doesn't want to rotate 2560x1440 resolution to 1440x2560. It drops down to 1080p.

Is there a workaround for this? Is there a Display Override that I should be using or does the 2.0a2 driver need to be updated to support rotation above 1200x1920?

Which OS X version is it? Can you please post the logs captured when all your screens are connected? Thanks.

Here's my diagnostic file. I'm running under OS X 10.8.2. I'm using an iMac 27" with 3 identical Dell U2713HM monitors. The first Dell is rotated at 1440x2560 using on-board video through a mini-DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable. The second and third monitors are rotated at 1080p using USB2 to a DisplayLink adapter to DisplayPort cable.

I've also posted a video for you here of the issue. Hope that helps to see it.

Wow, that's an impressive setup Thanks for the video, it clearly shows what's wrong and we are able to reproduce it. We'll try to address it in future builds.

Thanks,
Michal
