Default Windows 10 build 9926

Hi,

I notice none of the currently available drivers seem to be compatible with this new build. Does anyone know of a workaround or another working driver?

Thanks

I am experiencing the same issue. I went from 3 displays down to 1. Hopefully DisplayLink has an update shortly.

All,

Note that this was posted on Jan 23 on the Windows 10 FAQ:

Support for Windows 10 Technical Preview 2

DisplayLink will be making a release available to support the Windows 10 Technical Preview 2.

This release will be published in the next few days and will only be available through Windows Update.

An update from the folks at DisplayLink would be greatly appreciated as to the timing of the update.

Thanks in advance!

I'm also using this Windows build and the Alpha 2 driver gives me blue screens. An update on timing of a new driver would be much appreciated.

Default Update is available in Windows Updates

I just noticed the update in Windows Update this morning. Haven't had time to test it to verify it actually works. But it installed.

I can confirm that this update fixed the problem. I am now showing version 7.8.59891.0 and all my displays are working as normal.

Now if Microsoft can release an updated display driver for my Surface 3, I'll be set!

Great job by the DisplayLink folks for getting a drive out so quickly!

I have the Dell D3100 displaylink. Newest drivers installed from WU still no go. Version 7.8.59891.0 but that is only the Core software there is no graphics. Is there anything else that i need to do? I get no audio, video, no network. Any help would be awesome!

Thanks!

I have the Dell D3100 and a Lenovo dock and the StarTech Dual Head, none of which are now working on my SP3 with latest updates, it seems to conflict with the Intel drivers as they disable as soon as the DisplayLink drivers install from WU, the audio and network drivers are ok though, just not the display

Default SurfacePro1

Pair of Anker Dual Display USB3.0 Docking Stations... one home, one office. Office connected to Dell and LG 23" monitors - Dell as #2 and LG as #3. Works perfectly every time I connect to the docking station with SP1 closed and screen #1 off.

At home, just one LG23" with same docking station. Doesn't seem to recognize the new environment until after I type password to a blank screen. Thereafter the LG23" screen image appears. Sometimes this doesn't work. Somehow the signal doesn't consistently reaching the monitor.

Windows 10 Pro Technical Preview 9926
DisplayLink Mgr and Driver both v7.8.59891.0

Note: had to uninstall previous DisplayLink Mgr and Drivers from previous Win8.1. No previous problems using Win8.1 in this same set-up.
