Default Windows 7 64 Bit + Samsung Syncmaster U70

Hello,

I have bougth a Samsung Syncmaster U70 via ebay and want to install this under Windows 7 64 Bit. The driver on the CD (5.0.xxxxx) doesn't works, Windows 7 installs automatically a driver (5.2.xxxxx) and this doesn't works. Both at nVidia-Driver 260.99.

Then I used the Version 5.5 and it's works, but I couldn't start any Game under DirectX (nVidia-Driver 260.99). After this I found a "newer" driver, Version 5.4b1, I install this one, but it doesn't works with the nVidia-Driver. Windows doesn't start anymore. I had to restore Windows before I install 5.4b1. After installing nVidia-Driver 258.96 and 5.4b1 I can start DirectX-Games. But I have a new problem, i can't start PowerDVD 10 Ultra Mark II (newest Patch-Version). It quits with a failure Original in German: "Cyberlink PowerDVD 10 ist für diese Auflösung nicht optimiert und wird jetzt beendet.", in English "Cyberlink PowerDVD 10 is not optimized for this resolution and will now quit."

What could I do? I want to update my nVidia-Driver and using the Samsung Syncmaster U70.

My System:

Core i7 860
Gigabyte P55A-UD4
4 GB Corsair XMS3
Palit Geforce 460 GTX Sonic Platinum
2 x Samsung Spinpoint F4 320 GB
LG GSA-H22L DVD-Writer
LG BH10LS30 Bluray-Writer
Creative X-Fi Titanium Champion Series
Samsung Syncmaster 226BW (1680x1050)
Samsung Syncmaster U70 - USB-Monitor (800x480)

Please visit DisplayLink website and download the latest 5.5M1 driver. This should fix the problem you're seeing.
