Default Add a monitor to iMac 10.6.8

Trying to use Kworld UD165 usb adapter to add another Cine HD to iMac (it currently has one).
When we plug in the adapter the Display Link1 window appears in Display Prefs, but it disappears upon joining the monitor cable to the adapter.
Connecting the monitor to the adapter also extinguishs the Cine HD's power ('on') light, and the screen displays vertical banding on its right.

Have tried 1.8a1 and 1.7 to no avail.

iMac 2.16 Intel Core 2 Duo
System 10.6.8.
Kworld UD165 Multimedia Converter

What are we doing wrong?

Could you please use the debug tool here http://www.displaylink.com/support/ticket.php?id=269, collect debug info and post the zip file here? Thanks

Thanks Craig for posting the debug logs.
Sorry, I've just realised that your DisplayLink adapter should have the DL-165 chip inside, that supports resolutions up to 1920x1080. This means that it doesn't support the 1920x1200 resolution of your Cinema Display HD. Unfortunately the Apple Cine HD display supports only the 1920x1200 native resolution and not the scaled ones. To support 1920x1200 you need a DL-195 adapter.

Thanks, the Kensington Universal Multi Display Adapter 33928 worked perfectly with our Cinema Display HD—as you predicted.
