Default blurred display

I am using DisplayLink 7.6M0 via USB 2.0 with two Dell 2840T monitors in Windows 7 x64. With the last few issues of the DisplayLink software, generally, the configuration works rather well

For the majority of the time both displays are crystal clear, but sometimes the display become a little fuzzy, which is easily missed, but detectable when you have something like an Excel spread sheet with vertical lines which become blurred. I note that there used to be an 'optimize for video' option in the DisplayLink tray item menu, which has disappeared. I think that this used to reduce the bandwidth of video to help deliver video, but had the possible side effect of blurring normal windows that aren't so bandwidth hungry. I am not using DisplayLink for bandwidth hungry applications.

Are there any other options to try now this optimize option has disappeared?
