Default Plugable USB3 adapter not recognised

I think I can see why my adapter is not working - it looks like a conflict with "VDCAssistant" ...

I'm using a Plugable-USB3-HDMI--DVI adapter ... it shows up in the Mac system report properly with product id 0x4301 and Vendor 0x17e9 at location 0x014a00000

When I connect it, I see the following message in the system log:

VDCAssistant[279]: VDCAssistant: Found a camera (0x14a0000017e94301) , but was not able to start it up (0x0 -- (os/kern) successful)

I have attached the logs as requested.

Thanks for the logs. This looks like a problem we've seen on certain machines, and future builds should resolve it.

Thanks,
Michal
