Default Suspend resume causes DisplayLinkManager to idle with high cpu

I've noticed that when I resume my laptop that DisplayLinkManager will show up as a moderate consumer of CPU. Typically about 12%. This is with absolutely nothing plugged in. It just sits and spins.

I can absolutely tell the difference with it in that mode as my laptop becomes quite warm.

If I sudo killall DisplayLinkManager then it goes back to dormant after it gets restarted.

This is on a Dell XPS 13 DE running Ubuntu 14.04.5 LTS under kernel 3.19.0-66.

Seems to be 100% repeatable.

Anyone else see this? I'm considering adding a post-resume hook that kills it on every resume as a workaround.
