Default DisplayLink Ethernet Issue

Hi Everyone,

I was hoping someone could help me or has seen the issue I am about to explain.

- I have setup the DL with 3 monitors running Windows 10 Pro on my laptop.
- My router being used at the time was a TP-LINK TD-W8960N and I connected the laptop wired to one of the ports on the router to the ethernet port in the DL. This all worked fine!

- I changed my ISP to Sky Broadband and when I use the Sky Q Router ethernet port to the DL I get the following error:

"Ethernet 3" doesn't have a valid IP configuration.

If I take the ethernet out of the port at the back of the DL and plug it directly to the port on my laptop it works fine.

Is there something I have to do in my Sky Q router with the IP addressing?

Kind regards,

emissary

Hello,

There is no configuration to do on the router.
The router would support full duplex as it's recent.
Then, provided it's configured to send an IP address to clients (DHCP server), then it would allocate an IP address to the computer.

Kind regards,
Alban
