Hardrive excessive writes I/O

DisplayLinkManager.exe is constantly keeping my HDD busy with writes according to the Windows Task Manager.

I updated to the latest Display Link version but the issue persists

Maybe that's normal based on what you're doing.
Can you qualify "excessive"?
Can you provide the logs as described iny signature, making sure I'm the tool that advanced logging is OFF as more logging means more things to write.
