Thumbs down Not OSX compatible. Disappointing

I bought the belkin ultrabook stand and displaylink dock for my 2013 macbook pro. In the future we are getting a windows laptop too which is why I opted for displaylink rather than a thunderbolt dock. However the known issues alone are enough to make me think this shouldn't be sold as an osx compatible product.

Safari and firefox has plugin issues or crashes if the menubar is set to my attached monitor. To make them work I have to configure the displays in a way I don't want. My 3d apps suffer lag which makes them unusable when using them on the attached monitor. If I drag them back to the macbooks screen they perform normaly. I've yet to test photoshop and lightroom but the thought of spending another evening testing it out fills me with dread.

Maybe its the Intel graphics or just OSX thats the problem. But this is not a usuable product. Which is a shame as it could have so much promise.
