MBP 2017 not running 4k @ 60 hz (max 30)
I've started a new job and we were given MBP 2017 as our laptops. I hooked it up to my QGeeM Displaylink dongle and it's not able to support my HP 27f 4k @60Hz somehow (maxes out at 30 hz). I previously used a Lenovo X1Yoga and it had no problem using the same dongle with the same monitor at 4K 60Hz. I did install the latest driver for mac and enabled screen capture in Privacy settings.
The monitor does work if it's hooked up to MBP directly through a regular Thunderbolt to HDMI dongle. Any help is much appreciated! |

If you connect the HP monitor to the 'other' video output group, does the behavior change? |

I ask because I do not seem to be able to find information for a 'HP 27f ' display within HP's support site. I can find similar model names, but the ones that are similar are not 4K displays. |
