Default Ubuntu 16.04 install doesn't work on one machine

Hello,

I did an install on Ubuntu 16.04 and it installed fine. It wasn't working with my screen which needs to have a resolution of 1920 x 1080, so I installed an earlier version instead which does support that resolution (as per these forums).

My screen is simply black (no flickers at any time, even during booting). To troubleshoot, I then installed the same hard drive on 3 other machines and all of the other machines work just fine. I assume it must be something about the hardware or BIOS settings of this motherboard. The motherboard is http://www.asrockrack.com/general/pr...C226D2I#Manual .

I've attached the log files of the 4 machines (3 working, and the 1 that I need that is not working...) and I'm hoping someone can send me down the proper pathway. If I should gather more info, simply tell me what to do. If you'd like me to install Win7 on it or something for testing purposes that would be no problem as well.

Thanks,
Hans
